Well the new year has rolled in with its customary panic. In an already very short season Christmas and in fact the whole month of December pretty much blow away any remaining potential for sanity. You can’t get anything done in December because everyone you need to get ahold of is either hung over or franticly scouring lastminute.com for flights and gifts.

Then the first week of January kicks in and all hell breaks loose as everyone’s pud&port-addled brains are cold-dipped in the realisation that there’s only a month to prepare the next show/collection/Lookbooks/photoshoots etc. The only appropriate response is to yell at random intervals while watching back to back episodes of Heroes and pray that conciergeservices.com can sort it out.

If all else fails call Vogue and tell them your collection has been stolen (by Winona Ryder, no less, might aswell get some celebrity endorsement) start churning out some T-shirt slogans and hope to god you can pull a Henry Holland. Better yet steal someone else’s collection (I’m thinking Balenciaga or Lanvin) and hold your show early enough that journalists are too sleepy to notice you have suddenly produced one of the largest most beautiful collections in the world……….aaaand so on..!
